My love for you has become intangible
I feel the welts of your gentile lashing
She stares at my soul yet has no eyes
Begging for something you cannot ever find
Desire turns into shear fascination of words
I expose my heart, like a flower she opens to the sun
Her excitement radiates, a smile I adore and curse
I speak of past horrors, leaving me bitter and sore
Breath of past torments in her lies
Your love can never really belong to me
Trouble with a firmness in her look
One that I’m not comfortable with yet
Your frightened screams are obsessive
I ask who hurt you but then I hear my name
I shed one perfect tear drop for my empty life
Tell me your lies so I may run in the other direction
What was the memory that made you so afraid?
If I don’t know the truth, how can I fight for you?
Everyone but me understands your secrets
In this reality of unreal experiences

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
