Fast Forward.
The anguish of a life gone wrong, so unnecessary
As clouds cry from chocking on narcissistic plumes
So extensive, twisted and gnarled with broken bodies
Such deep purples, stained by blue bruises and burns
No sunlight, only strobes of near blinded lighting
In great flooded caves, filled with distressed boats
As the damned naked hands of traumatised souls
Violently drag me onto abandon muddied shorelines
Pause.
This horizontal shower ballet, face matted by memories
Padded cells, covered in the most brilliant green moss
Oh, the agony of knowing how I failed you completely
As my heartbreaks, choking on your cracked reflection
Somehow, sheltered from screams and such catastrophe
Hiding under green canopies, like blades of new grass
Silently lying in dried pools of dying damaged leaves
Begging for rebirth, yet ignored by the sad of shadows
Rewind.
