Last night I had a conversation with a friend that desperately tried to explain to me it was her fault her cheek and lip was all bruised and cut after her partner smacked her around the head. The friend forgot to add sultana to a pudding and OFCOURSE that qualifies as something you deserve to be hit for…
In the space of 2 hours I have never heard someone say sorry so many times. Its kind of why I added so much “sorry” to the piece. Everything mentioned in the conversation was utilised in this piece, if for not any other reason I wanted people to realise how disgusting and completely unacceptable this situation is.
I hope the piece says enough, I didn’t want to complicate it with over-elaborate wording. Violence against anyone is completely disgusting, but violence in a relationship, especially someone half their size, really boils my blood beyond words

WOW I love this one hun ... and I agree with every word you have said ... violence is not needed and violence against someone who is physically not the same is even more disgusting. I hope your friend is OK and that one day she will be strong enough to get away from this situation and realise he is the one who should be apologising.
